This internship provides hands-on experience in financial planning and analysis within one of the nation's strongest financial organizations. Interns will conduct financial analysis, monitor key business indicators, and assist in management reporting to support business strategy and performance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis for assigned business units within PREMIER Bankcard
- Assist in developing and monitoring key business indicators for the business units
- Support month end variance explanations to budget, forecast, prior year to provide transparency into business performance trends
- Assist in preparing management reporting, business analysis, business presentations and provide insightful commentary regarding results and projections
- Meet with assigned business leaders on a recurring basis to share results and gain insights into business strategy
- Perform Ad Hoc analysis projects as assigned
- Work in a team centric environment with collaborative success
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a quantitative data analysis degree
- Genuine interest in financial planning & analysis
- Strong skills in EXCEL and data analysis
