Finance Analyst/ Management Accountant

About This Role

This role involves preparing and maintaining meticulous financial reports, delving into revenue and cost drivers to offer commercial insights. You will also be responsible for management accounting tasks, helping with vendor negotiations and developing business cases, while supporting the annual budget and ensuring financial governance and controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the Operational Summary Report (OSR) and EBITDA bridge, including budget vs actual, variance, and run-rate analysis
• Analyze revenue, cost drivers, and margin trends, providing commercial insights and commentary to support decision-making
• Reconcile data between ERP (Sage Intacct), Employment Hero, Splose, and other systems to ensure accuracy of reporting
• Support the Head of Commercial Finance in preparing monthly management reports, board packs, and business review decks
• Prepare cost packs and support vendor negotiations through accurate analysis of spend and savings trackers
• Maintain and reconcile vendor savings and ROI trackers for marketing, referral, and program initiatives
• Assist in the development of business cases, forecasts, and financial models for new initiatives
• Contribute to process improvement and automation of reporting outputs across systems
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of GL classifications and reporting structures across brands and entities
• Support the annual budget process and rolling forecasts
• Identify anomalies, risks, or data inconsistencies and escalate findings with recommendations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-5 years' experience in management accounting, FP&A, or commercial finance
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
• Expert-level Excel proficiency
• Proficient in P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow relationships
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-5 years' experience in management accounting, FP&A, or commercial finance

Nice to Have

• Experience with ERP and reporting systems (e.g., Sage Intacct, Employment Hero, Splose, Power BI)
