Field Superintendent

About This Role

As a Field Superintendent, you will coordinate the success, timeliness, and quality completion of construction projects by providing direction to subcontractors and vendors, coordinating resources, and supporting the Project Superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strict adherence to budgetary guidelines, quality, and safety standards
• Enforce compliance with all project procedures, safety program requirements, and work rules
• Retain a current working knowledge of the Certificate of Occupancy process
• Ensure construction activities progress according to a pre-determined schedule
• Work directly with all subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality control, cost control, and adherence to the construction schedule
• Complete punch list items in a time frame consistent with customer requirements and project budget
• Prepare subcontractor work schedules and provide input to the Project Superintendent in preparing and updating Project Construction schedules
• Ensure project site and company assets are secure and maintain a safe and respectful working environment by implementing safety (OSHA) and risk management standards

Requirements

• 5 years’ experience as a multifamily or wood frame construction superintendent
• Knowledge of building codes, risk management, and safety standards
• HS Diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or related field, preferred
• 5 years’ experience as a multifamily or wood frame construction superintendent
