Field Service Tech

About This Role

The Environmental Technician (ET) will perform assigned duties at client sites and CT Industrial Services owned sites, focusing on safe execution of tasks related to remediation and construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following all policies and processes
• Perform labor tasks including shoveling, raking, fence installation, cleaning inside of tanks, cutting steel, sweeping, and working with power tools
• Complete and submit daily checklists to document proper and safe operation of CTIS vehicles and equipment
• Ensure work meets all applicable health and safety, quality, and compliance standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Adhere to and ensure constant compliance with Health and Safety regulations
• Wear and effectively use a variety of Levels A, B, C and D personal protective equipment (PPE)

Requirements

• Ability to perform labor tasks such as shoveling, raking, fence installation, cleaning tanks, cutting steel, sweeping, and using power tools
• Competency to complete online mandated Health and Safety/corporate/regulatory training
• Ability to wear and effectively use a variety of Levels A, B, C and D personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to clean shave face as needed to don a respirator
• Ability to work in various temperatures indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to work in atmospheres and locations with potential for exposure to various chemical and physical agents
• Ability to work extended (8 hours) time periods per shift
• Valid state issued driver's license
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to pass a criminal background check for secure governmental installations
