Feature Integration Quality Engineer

About This Role

This role involves developing and executing tests for new software features across Apple products and platforms, ensuring high quality and seamless integration. You will analyze complex feature proposals, create test plans, and present results to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Test high profile, multi-functional software features on Apple platforms
• Analyze ambiguous feature proposals for risks
• Break down complex systems into component parts for testing
• Create, carry out, and present results of test plans to executive stakeholders
• Transition feature testing to long term support

Requirements

• 3+ years experience leading QA projects (manual/automation, planning, test writing, execution, triage)
• Demonstrated ability to achieve results through people and across an organization
• Experience leading testers with multi-functional testing emphasis
• Skilled at debugging, troubleshooting, and problem solving
• Extensive experience with integration, stability, performance, reliability, and stress testing methodologies
• Ability to effectively leverage and test AI tools and features
• Strong software engineering and development life cycle knowledge

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• 3 years experience leading projects including manual and automation planning, test writing, execution, and triage on multiple platforms and all application layers

Nice to Have

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills
• Experience developing in Python, Java, Swift, C/C++ or Objective-C
• Familiarity with databases, SQL, and scripting languages
• Solid understanding of diffusion and generative models (training, fine-tuning, optimizing, deploying, testing)
• Experience testing APIs
• Easily adaptable in a dynamic, constantly evolving, and demanding environment
• Proficient at balancing multiple efforts simultaneously and meeting strict deadlines
• Ability to deep dive into technical areas and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
