This position provides family-centered, strength-based services to enhance the well-being of children, individuals, families, and communities by performing needs/strengths assessments, developing plans, and assisting with access to services and crisis planning.
Responsibilities
- Provide needs/strengths assessment in collaboration with the family and team
- Develop family plans
- Facilitate linkages and consultations for families
- Assist families in accessing services
- Develop crisis assistance plans
- Conduct periodic reviews of needs and progress
- Establish trusting relationships with families
- Assist in strengthening parent-child relationships
- Assist parents in improving skills to optimize the home environment
- Enhance family support systems and increase family's ability to problem-solve and advocate for themselves and their children
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Sciences and one-year full time experience OR AA degree in Behavioral Science and two years full time experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Sciences or Associate's degree in Behavioral Science
- 1 year full-time experience with Bachelor's or 2 years full-time experience with Associate's degree
