The Family Resources Coordinator supports young children with developmental delays and their families by coordinating early intervention services and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate development, scheduling, and review of Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs)
- Ensure compliance with Part B and Part C IDEA regulations and timelines
- Educate families on their rights, procedural safeguards, and available early intervention services
- Maintain knowledge of community resources and make appropriate referrals
- Complete required documentation for child files, billing, tracking, and agency records
- Maintain active registration as a Family Resources Coordinator and attend required trainings
