Facilities Maintenance

About This Role

Responsible for general building and grounds maintenance and repairs at various WCS program locations, ensuring compliance with agency, contractual, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facilities meet all agency, contractual, and regulatory requirements for maintenance, repair, sanitation, and environmental safety
• Identify building and equipment repair needs and inform program Supervisor
• Prioritize and complete repairs as needed or directed
• Respond to maintenance emergencies, including after-hours/on-call situations
• Purchase maintenance supplies and equipment as directed
• Maintain an inventory of all maintenance equipment and supplies
• Perform custodial tasks
• Drive facilities vehicles as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years’ work experience or training in all facets of building maintenance
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license
• Auto insurance
• Reliable automobile
• Ability to clear a criminal and State Caregiver background check
• Ability to clear a pre-employment health screening
• Knowledge of building maintenance and repairs
• Knowledge of general painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, commercial door hardware, and building repairs

Qualifications
