This role is for an experienced staff accountant who will support accounting for active construction projects, assist with monthly close processes, and ensure accurate financial reporting within a leading construction company.
Responsibilities
- Support accounting for active construction projects, including job cost tracking and analysis
- Assist with monthly close processes related to project accounting
- Review and reconcile project costs, billings, and budgets
- Partner with project managers to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Assist with WIP reporting and revenue recognition
- Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Contribute to process improvements and special projects
Requirements
- CPA required
- 1-2 years of accounting experience
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and finance leadership
- Motivated, team-oriented mindset
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of accounting experience ideal
Nice to Have
- Background in construction, engineering, or architecture accounting
