Experienced Carpet Installer

About This Role

Execute high-quality carpet installations as a 1099 Contractor, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to company standards. This role is crucial for delivering exceptional service and maintaining the company's reputation.

Responsibilities

• Understand the scope of work for each project
• Prep and install carpet flooring according to company procedures with high attention to detail
• Keep vehicle and tools organized, clean, and maintain a safe work environment
• Interact with customers in a friendly and polite manner, demonstrating trustworthiness
• Ensure high quality company standards are met, including customer satisfaction
• Communicate effectively and proactively

Requirements

• 5+ years in carpet installation
• Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance
• Functioning vehicle and satisfactory driving record
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (at least one person per jobsite)
• Authorized to work in the US and pass a background check
• Contractor registration and Certificate of Insurance (including Workers' Compensation)
• Ability to perform repetitive crouching, squatting, standing, and lift up to 75lbs

Qualifications

• 5+ years in carpet installation

• Expertise across all material types (hardwood, LVP, tile, sheet vinyl, laminate, sanding, refinishing, etc.)
