Oversee the cleanliness standards of the hotel establishment, ensure guest satisfaction and safety, and manage the Housekeeping Department team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly forecasts for the Housekeeping Department in coordination with other departments
- Plan work schedules and room assignments for team members
- Participate in the recruiting and selection process of newly hired team members
- Provide essential training to newly hired team members in all aspects of housekeeping and guest services
- Monitor team member performance and provide performance appraisals
- Conduct guest satisfaction inspections of public areas, guest rooms, corridors, restrooms, and laundry
- Assist with the preparation of the annual budget for the Housekeeping Department and manage expenses
- Responsible for cleaning supply orders, linen par stockings, and chemicals; maintain inventory and control costs
- Track lost and found goods and ensure team members are aware of the procedure
- Process guest complaints and ensure proper care and maintenance of equipment
- Reinforce and maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness to achieve guest expectation
- Monitor preventive maintenance program to protect physical assets of the hotel establishment

- Ability to follow directions and delegate in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work varied schedules
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to listen attentively
- Physical ability to walk, bend, and stand for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Adherence to grooming and appearance standards
Qualifications
- High-school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of executive hospitality experience
Nice to Have
- Executive hospitality experience
- Bilingual communication skills
- Computer knowledge and/or experience
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry
- Previous experience as an Executive Housekeeper
