About This Role

This role primarily involves leading the end-to-end execution of AfterShip's tradeshows and field events program, contributing to the overall events strategy, and ensuring events drive pipeline growth and customer engagement. The manager will be responsible for both logistical execution and strategic planning of in-person, virtual, and hybrid events.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AfterShip's tradeshows and field events program, including annual calendar planning, event selection, onsite execution, and post-event analysis.
  • Manage all operational details for in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, such as vendor negotiations, venue selection, staffing coordination, and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with Sales, RevOps, and Marketing to ensure seamless lead routing, effective ROI reporting, and alignment with go-to-market priorities.
  • Cultivate relationships with key clients to secure speaking engagements and testimonials, and oversee the design and execution of the Customer Advisory Board (CAB) program.
  • Manage the event marketing budget, including tracking expenses, processing invoices, and maintaining efficiency of promotional items and booth assets.
  • Coordinate with Product Marketing and Partnerships on webinars, customer dinners, and partner-driven events to maintain a unified brand presence.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in events marketing, field marketing, or experiential marketing
  • Proven experience owning end-to-end execution of tradeshows and field events
  • Strong operational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, invoices, and event inventory
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams
  • Ability to balance hands-on execution with strategic thinking and continuous improvement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and adapt to changing priorities

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in events marketing, field marketing, or experiential marketing

Nice to Have

  • Experience in B2B SaaS or eCommerce
  • Experience supporting customer marketing or customer-led events
