Join a team of part-time event support staff traveling across the country to coordinate and facilitate meal packing events, helping to fight hunger and make a positive impact.
Responsibilities
- Connect with clients and volunteers, ensuring excellent customer service during Hunger Projects
- Educate volunteers about U.S. Hunger and its initiatives
- Coordinate and facilitate Hunger Project event setup and breakdown
- Ensure food safety guidelines are followed
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Enthusiastic, strong interpersonal skills, and positive attitude
- Attentive to detail
- Demonstrated ability to successfully work with large groups of people
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and move around on a floor for hours at a time
- Background check and driving history report required
