Event Lead

About This Role

Lead pop-up events, markets, and retail activations for a lifestyle and apparel brand in Austin, ensuring customer satisfaction and managing event logistics from setup to teardown.

Responsibilities

• Plan, set up, run, and tear down Kappy Co. booths at various events
• Lead and schedule event staff and brand ambassadors
• Greet guests with warmth, enthusiasm, and professionalism
• Conduct in-store audits and maintain merchandise displays at partner retail locations
• Restock inventory and track product levels
• Transport equipment and products to and from events safely and on time
• Guide customers in designing custom hats and products
• Use a heat press to apply patches (training provided)
• Handle payments and manage petty cash accurately
• Scout, evaluate, and onboard new vending opportunities and retail partners in the Austin area
• Submit post-event reports including sales insights and improvement opportunities

Requirements

• Weekend availability
• Experience in events, retail, customer service, or hospitality
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
