ETL-Data Warehouse Developer

About This Role

The ETL-Data Warehouse Developer designs, develops, implements, and monitors data pipelines and workflows, ensuring accurate and reliable data. This role supports the analytics team in developing data integration, storage, reporting, and analysis solutions, and is involved in RMS's reporting environments and machine learning efforts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and monitor data pipelines and workflows
• Extract, transform, and load data from various sources using scripting languages and tools
• Work closely with the analytics team to gather requirements and implement data solutions
• Monitor operation and effectiveness of ETL processes, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
• Optimize ETL jobs for data accuracy, performance, and reliability
• Collaborate with the RM Data Engineer on innovative data warehouse solutions
• Lead the development and testing of data warehouse codes, tools, structures, and processes
• Participate in data governance initiatives and ensure data integration conforms to standards

Requirements

• 2+ years as a database programmer, ETL developer, or application developer
• Ability to create and execute complex data integrations
• Advanced coding and development skills using common database platforms and concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of relational databases and data query techniques

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, mathematics, business, or related field, or equivalent experience and technical education
• Two to four years of experience as a database programmer, ETL developer, application developer or similar position.
