The Estate Planning Attorney will be responsible for guiding clients through the estate planning process, ensuring accurate and efficient completion of their estate plans. This role involves serving as the primary client contact and leveraging legal expertise to create and implement estate plans.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for estate planning clients
- Answer client questions on the same day or offer same-day response timing
- Ask clients for referrals to expand the practice beyond wealth management referrals
- Refer CPL clients not originally referred by Creative Planning to Creative Planning for wealth management services
- Use legal expertise to assist in the creation and implementation of estate plans
- Draft and review estate planning documents with a great degree of accuracy
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate
- Licensed and in good standing with the bar of NY and PA
- 7+ years of estate planning or other relevant experience
- Ability to present complex estate planning concepts to clients
- Ability to draft and review estate planning documents with a great degree of accuracy
Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate
- 7+ years of estate planning or other relevant experience
Nice to Have
- LL.M. in tax or estate planning
- Licensed and in good standing with the bars of more than one state
