Escrow Officer/Transaction Manager

About This Role

This role involves managing real estate title orders from start to finish, ensuring a seamless closing process for clients. It requires coordinating communication with various stakeholders and resolving title defects.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first and primary point of contact with clients, ensuring an excellent client experience
• Coordinate communication with realtors, lenders, attorneys, buyers, and sellers to prepare for closing
• Ensure all items on a title insurance commitment are resolved before closing, clearing title defects and obtaining necessary documentation
• Prepare the Closing Disclosure and/or Settlement Statement, compliant with purchase contract, lender instructions, and federal/state requirements
• Perform closing and settlement functions per company standards
• Create and maintain business relationships with realtors and lenders for continued business success

Requirements

• At least one year of experience working in the Real Estate Title industry
• Experience in a similar role in a real estate title company, with Commercial and Residential experience
• Proven organization and communication skills
• Experience coordinating communication across multiple channels and people
• Ability to multi-task and work quickly but accurately
• Quality communication skills via email, phone, video, and in-person, including proper grammar and spelling

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in a similar role in a real estate title company, with both Commercial and some Residential experience
