Direct the development and implementation of ERSEA (Enrollment, Recruitment, Selection, Eligibility, and Attendance) requirements for an Early Head Start program. This role also oversees parent, family, and community engagement, ensuring compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and responsiveness to community needs.
Responsibilities
- Direct the development, training, and implementation of ERSEA (Enrollment, Recruitment, Selection, Eligibility, and Attendance) requirements
- Analyze, monitor, and implement child enrollment and attendance systems
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures for ERSEA and prohibition, suspension, and expulsion
- Oversee parent, family, and community engagement in cooperation with other disciplines
- Direct training for parents, staff, community, and governing boards in ERSEA
- Develop policies and procedures for the ERSEA and Family/Community Engagement system of services
- Assess community, program, child, and family needs, strengths, and resources
- Administer the family services budget and assure fiscal integrity
- Develop, maintain, and manage systems to track eligibility, recruitment, selection, enrollment, and attendance
- Supervise ERSEA department staff, monitoring performance and facilitating staff development
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Family Services, Human Services or Counseling
- 3-5 years’ experience working with families and children prenatal to three years of age with at least 2 years of supervisory experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of local community resources
- Advance knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Valid Driver’s License
- Personal Vehicle
- Liability Insurance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Family Services, Human Services or Counseling
- 3-5 years’ experience working with families and children prenatal to three years of age with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.

- Graduate Degree in Social Work, Family Services or Counseling
- Professional expertise in specialty areas of Family Services
- Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards
- Bi-lingual in English/Spanish
