EPlan Design Engineer

About This Role

Design and optimize advanced electrical systems and automation solutions for a leader in advanced automation solutions. This role involves working from concept through production to deliver high-quality, compliant, and efficient designs for custom industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems, control panels, and automation solutions for industrial applications
• Create detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings using CAD & EPLAN software
• Define and implement control system architectures, including PLCs, HMIs, and robotics integration
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate fabrication, assembly, and commissioning
• Troubleshoot and optimize designs for performance, safety, and compliance with relevant codes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
• Proficiency with EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, and similar design tools
• Knowledge of industrial automation, control systems, and applicable electrical codes
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
