As an Entry Level Human Factors Scientist, you will conduct complex investigations involving human perception, behavior, decision-making, and safety systems in forensic engineering.
Responsibilities
- Conduct complex analyses and simulations
- Evaluate human performance during events such as vehicle operation, product interaction, and environment interaction
- Review case-related materials in the form of photographs, video, physical evidence, testimony, and other descriptive documents
- Perform in-office and out-of-office field investigations, including physical inspections of vehicles, roadways, consumer products, and commercial equipment
- Conduct literature searches and summaries
- Communicate findings in written and oral presentation format both internally and to external clients
- Support managing and principal level engineers/scientists by assisting them in preparing for courtroom testimony
Requirements
- PhD in Human Factors, Psychology, or related discipline
- 0-5 years of experience in applied human factors
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
