As an Engagement Ground Support Contractor, you will facilitate seamless tutoring sessions in Indianapolis Public Schools by assisting students with platform login, troubleshooting basic technical issues, and supporting classroom logistics. This role is instrumental in advancing educational equity by ensuring smooth program implementation.
Responsibilities
- Support students in logging into the Tutored by Teachers platform
- Troubleshoot technical issues that arise during platform setup or use
- Provide on-the-ground support to students and teachers for smooth program implementation
- Collaborate with school staff to address technology or classroom management issues
- Communicate regularly with Tutored by Teachers Engagement Managers
- Ensure classroom technology (laptops, tablets) is functional and ready for use
Requirements
- Former classroom teacher experience
- Strong technology skills and ability to troubleshoot tech issues efficiently (Chromebooks, iPads)
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meets
- Dependable and effective communicator
- Ability to commit to on-site work at schools in Indianapolis during school hours
- Passion for education
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a classroom teacher.
