This role will support Energy & Infrastructure transactions, working with sponsors, developers, lenders, and investors in the US and international energy markets. The associate will handle matters across the project lifecycle and specific financing structures.
Responsibilities
- Handle matters across the full project lifecycle
- Engage with various stakeholders including sponsors, developers, lenders, and investors
- Work with major financing structures in the project finance marketplace
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience on financing and/or private M&A transactions
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree
- Active bar membership in NY, DC, or TX
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- 2-6 years of experience with Energy & Infrastructure transactions
Nice to Have
- Experience on project and energy financing and/or energy and infrastructure-related M&A transactions
- Tax equity and/or IRA credit experience
