About This Role

This role is for an Elementary School Reading Tutor to provide personalized online instruction to students using the Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform. Tutors will work remotely, set their own schedule, and make a significant impact on students' learning journeys.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized instruction to individual students through 1-on-1 online tutoring
  • Accept on-demand tutoring requests for instant tutoring sessions
  • Personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles
  • Invoice for tutoring sessions, with Varsity Tutors handling payments
  • Leverage AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions with real-time instructional support and lesson generation

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style
  • Expertise in Elementary School Reading and ability to explain concepts clearly
  • Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles

Nice to Have

  • Tutoring experience

  • Graduate-level education
