This role will support SCADA and industrial control systems within a utility environment, focusing on design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and providing technical guidance for critical control systems.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a SCADA subject matter expert for field personnel and engineers
- Develop and document standards, installation procedures, and maintenance guides
- Troubleshoot and analyze complex control systems
- Prepare system specifications, diagrams, and technical reports
- Provide or assist with technical training for field staff
- Manage spare parts and coordinate with vendors as needed
Requirements
- US citizenship
- Ability to clear a government background screen
- 10+ years of experience in electronics engineering with SCADA or industrial control systems
- 5+ years hands-on design, installation, or maintenance of SCADA/DCS/PLC/BMS systems
- 3+ years with industrial control protocols (DNP3, Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP)
- Field support experience in a utility or industrial setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in electronics engineering with SCADA or industrial control systems

- Process automation/instrumentation experience
- RTU troubleshooting and maintenance
- Linux experience
- Python experience
- HMI/MMI interface development
- Experience delivering technical training
