Electrical Engineer Intern

About This Role

Support a wide variety of electrical engineering projects, including design, prototyping, evaluation, and testing of new products and enhancements for a company that employs advanced laser and holographic technology.

Responsibilities

• Support a wide variety of projects
• Assist in the design, prototyping, evaluation, and testing phase of new product development or enhancement projects
• Assist in developing test fixtures
• Perform prescribed engineering tasks in the product design department under the guidance of an Electrical Engineer

Requirements

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and presentation skills
• Proactive work ethic and energy
• Effective team member and contributor
• Fundamental knowledge of basic circuit design, analysis, and simulation
• Fundamentals of Analog and Digital design
• Basic soldering skills
• Familiarity with electrical test equipment, including power supplies, DMMs, and oscilloscopes
• US citizenship required
• Minimum 3.0 GPA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering in progress, preferably with sophomore year completed
• Entry-level with fundamental knowledge of basic circuit design, analysis, simulation, analog/digital design, and basic soldering skills

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with embedded development
• Familiarity with E-CAD schematic and PCB layout with Altium
