As an EDI Functional Analyst, you will support integration efforts by gathering requirements, data mapping, documenting, and testing EDI transactions. This role involves close collaboration with business and technical teams to ensure effective EDI processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting and documenting requirements for EDI integration and transformation.
- Participate in mapping data elements for standard EDI transactions (such as 837, 835, 277, 999, 278, etc.).
- Support EDI translation and transformation using mapping tools and documentation standards.
- Help execute and validate test cases for EDI transactions to confirm compliance and accuracy.
- Track and help resolve EDI process issues with guidance from senior team members.
- Maintain clear records of EDI process flows and mapping documentation.
Requirements
- Advanced HIPPA knowledge
- Basic understanding of EDI concepts, X12, and HIPAA transaction sets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort learning new software and technical processes.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational habit
