Early Childhood After School Activity Instructor

About This Role

The Early Childhood After School Activity Instructor is responsible for leading after-school clubs for children aged 3-5, ensuring their safety and engagement, and upholding the school's mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Instruct selected after school clubs for ages 3-5 early childhood
• Ensure availability at least once per week on assigned club date from 3:30pm-5pm
• Support and uphold the mission and values of the International School of Texas
• Maintain confidentiality regarding school matters
• Continually monitor and supervise all activities of the participants
• Follow school policies regarding safety guidelines
• Communicate with Athletics & Activities Director efficiently
• Demonstrate professionalism in conduct, demeanor, and work habits
• Use approved, corrective, and positive discipline procedures in dealing with inappropriate student conduct
• Maintain composure

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Experience working with children ages 3-5

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Experience working with children ages 3-5. Teaching experience preferred.
