About This Role

Lead shifts at a Dunkin' Donuts location, ensuring exceptional customer service, adherence to job duties, and compliance with brand and food safety standards. This role involves training new team members and overseeing cash handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift
• Consistently provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints
• Complete opening, daily, and closing procedures/checklists
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies
• Ensure proper food handling procedures, including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and temperature checks
• Complete kitchen-related tasks such as prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products
• Maintain solid knowledge of products and services available in the plaza
• Assist in the training of new team members
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies and procedures
• Inform plaza leadership of any observations, concerns, or problems

Requirements

• Cash handling experience
• Customer service experience
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to frequently bend, twist, lift and carry at least 40 pounds
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and policy documents
• Ability to converse comfortably with customers
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required. Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
