This role is responsible for safely and efficiently providing application services to customers, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and maintaining a professional image. The Driver Applicator will operate equipment to apply agricultural products and support plant/warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality application services to customers in a safe and timely manner
- Maintain a quality and professional image with customers and be responsive to their needs
- Obtain/maintain DOT and CDL licensing and registration and comply with state and federal application requirements
- Obtain/maintain state commercial applicator certification and stay current with requirements
- Perform daily inspection of equipment prior to field applications and post application inspections
- Maintain safety equipment in optimum condition in the applicator equipment and immediate work area; follow all safety regulations and guidelines
- Apply the correct labeling, decals and DOT numbers to equipment and tanks
- Maintain the appropriate applicator and equipment logs and ensure they are kept up to date
- Perform the required preventive maintenance program recommended for the equipment
- Comply with regulatory guidelines in tank mixing, rinsing, and washing down both in the field and at the plant
- Assist other plant/warehouse workers in various physical duties necessary in running an agricultural location
Requirements
- High School graduate or GED (may be offset by experience)
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to meet Motor Vehicle Review in accordance with Company policy
- Ability to obtain and maintain required state commercial applicator certification
- Ability to obtain and maintain DOT and CDL Class A licensing
Qualifications
- High School graduate or GED; may be offset by experience
- Entry level; some related experience and/or training preferred (Skill Level I)

- Some related experience and/or training preferred
- Basic mechanical skills for daily maintenance of equipment preferred
