DOT CDL Mobile Bus Driver

About This Role

This role will transport bloodmobiles to various community blood drive locations, provide customer service to donors, and ensure the safe delivery of blood products. This position supports the community by maintaining a supply of lifesaving blood for hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, transport, unload, load and return vehicles before and after assigned blood drives
• Perform mobile preparation and site setup for a blood drive
• Provide customer service and onsite recruiting for donors during blood drives
• Perform site takedown and safe transport of products to the center
• Ensure exceptional customer service for donors and sponsors
• Maintain adequate inventory of supplies on vehicles
• Ensure vehicles are clean
• Transport units, samples, and donor medical records to the processing center

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid/Current CDL (Class A OR Class B w/ Airbrakes)
• Current Medical Card / ability to pass a DOT Physical
• Ability to lift 40lbs and push rolling equipment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have

• 2 years driving trucks, buses, coaches, or larger cargo vehicles
• Excellent driving record free of any accidents or moving violations within the past 3 years
• Customer service experience
• Defensive driving
