Door Shop Associate

About This Role

The Door Shop Associate will work on the production floor in the millwork division, using door production machinery and basic carpentry skills to assemble interior and exterior doors. This role contributes to a team effort to assemble quality doors made to specification for customer orders in both single family and multi-family construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Rotate jobs and learn the full scope of the assembly process for interior and exterior door lines within the door shop
• Perform material gathering, inspection, quality control, packaging, and shipping preparation
• Use pneumatic tools, power tools, saws, and other carpentry tools for building orders
• Utilize Personal Protective Equipment, machine guarding, and other safety requirements
• Clean equipment, floors, and other work areas according to safety procedures
• Assist with raw materials and finished goods inventory and material replenishment throughout the production floor
• Assemble and install insulated glass panels into sash and/or frame
• Package, wrap, and stack completed units
