Donor Appreciation and Communications Coordinator

About This Role

This role supports Dads Against Crime's mission by building strong relationships with donors, primarily through high-volume thank you calls, emails, and letters, to prevent crime through mentorship and community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound thank-you calls to donors daily
• Send donor appreciation emails for one-time donations
• Prepare and mail hundreds of donor appreciation letters
• Maintain accurate donor records

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable making outbound phone calls daily
• Professional phone presence and email etiquette
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage repetitive, high-volume tasks consistently
• Basic computer proficiency (email, data entry, documents)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time on-site
• Ability to handle confidential donor information with discretion

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)

Nice to Have

• Experience in nonprofit donor relations, fundraising, or development
• Customer service, call center, or administrative experience
• Familiarity with donor databases or CRM systems
• Experience preparing bulk mailings or donor correspondence
• Strong time-management and task-tracking skills
• Ability to communicate an organization’s mission clearly and confidently
