Review documents for complex litigation matters using an electronic review platform for relevancy, confidentiality, and privilege. This project-based position offers an opportunity to expand legal experience by providing insight into the discovery process.
Responsibilities
- Review documents for complex litigation matters
- Code documents for relevancy, confidentiality, and privilege using an electronic review platform
Requirements
- Must reside in South Dakota
- Active license to practice law and be in good standing with the bar of at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Secure home office with high-speed internet access
- Computer that uses Windows 10/11 or Mac: Ventura (13), Sonoma (14), Sequoia (15) or newer
- Phone or tablet with Apple OS version 16 or later, or Android OS version 16 or later
- Proficiency in utilizing modern technology, especially computers and related remote work equipment
Nice to Have
- Experience electronically reviewing documents in complex litigation matters using various review platforms including Nebula and Relativity
- Experience reviewing and coding documents for responsiveness, relevancy, confidentiality, and privilege
- Experience with quality control, and preparation of privilege and redaction logs
