District Sales Manager - Fluid Control, Filtration and Handling

About This Role

Manage a sales territory in the Pacific Northwest, focusing on outside sales and account management for fluid control, filtration, and handling products. This role involves developing existing customer relationships, identifying new prospects, and providing product knowledge and training.

Responsibilities

• Solidify and further develop existing relationships with key customers
• Identify and sell new prospects from current clients, referral leads, and other sources
• Build ongoing value by updating customers' knowledge of products/applications
• Assist in product election and provide appropriate training
• Prepare and submit a weekly sales call plan to Regional Sales Manager (RSM)
• Use ACS to document all customer contact and sales activities
• Regularly communicate with Inside Sales, RSM, and other team members on territory sales and problem resolution
• Continually improve team sales skills, product, and market knowledge
• Maintain a high degree of professionalism at all times

Requirements

• 5+ years of outside field sales / account management experience
• 1+ years of sales supervisory experience
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to lead and coordinate a sales team effort
• Organized, detail oriented, quick learner with ability to grasp new concepts
• Ability to facilitate training sessions
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Basic mathematics aptitude
• Mechanical Aptitude
• MS Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree OR equivalent experience
• 5+ years of outside field sales / account management experience; 1+ years of sales supervisory experience

Nice to Have

• Previous experience within industrial sales focused on fluid control systems, fluid filtration systems, fluid handling products
