Display Operative

About This Role

This role involves maintaining the presentation and organization of the car forecourt, processing new stock deliveries, and assisting the sales team. The Display Operative will ensure the site is well-stocked, visually appealing, and clean.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the presentation and organisation of the forecourt to the highest standard
• Move and arrange vehicles as needed, ensuring the site is well-stocked and visually appealing
• Process new stock deliveries – moving vehicles from the inbound transporter to the forecourt
• Assist the sales team with stock access and selection
• Manage the yard’s day-to-day operations, including sold, part-exchange, and auction vehicles
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, colleagues, and management
• Keep the forecourt clean, safe, and customer-friendly at all times

Requirements

• Hold a Full Manual UK Driving Licence
• Good communication skills
• Self-motivated with high standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective time management and flexibility in working patterns

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a similar role or within the motor trade
