About This Role

This role involves providing online Discrete Math tutoring to students nationally through the Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform, allowing tutors to manage their own schedule and make a significant impact on student learning.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized instruction to individual students through 1-on-1 Online Tutoring
  • Accept on-demand tutoring requests via Instant Tutoring whenever available
  • Set your own hours and tutor to your desired capacity
  • Invoice for tutoring sessions conducted
  • Utilize the Live Learning Platform and AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions, save prep time, and focus on teaching

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style
  • Expertise in Discrete Math and the ability to explain concepts clearly
  • Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles

Nice to Have

  • Tutoring experience
  • Teaching experience
  • Graduate-level education
