Director, Software Engineering

About This Role

Lead a team of engineers and leaders to build employee-facing software products, driving engineering outcomes and enhancing user experiences. Provide strategic direction and technical leadership, advocating for AI-first experiences across NVIDIA.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and leaders building employee-facing products
• Participate in product design and development, engaging at all levels of execution
• Work closely with PMs, TPMs, and technical teams to drive engineering outcomes, enhance user experiences, and develop products and workflows that users love
• Provide strategic direction working closely with senior leaders across NVIDIA
• Provide technical leadership and strongly advocate for AI-first experiences

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience building software in the tech industry
• 8+ years of experience managing high-performing teams
• Product-first thinking
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong experience building and leveraging AI agents
• Experience designing distributed systems

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, or a related technical field
• 15+ overall years of experience building software in the tech industry; 8+ years of experience managing high-performing teams

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with issue tracking and agile delivery products
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and high-quality release practices
