Director or Managing Director – Business Valuation or Forensic Accounting (Family Law Focus)

About This Role

This role involves leading and expanding the firm's Family Law practice by delivering business valuation and forensic accounting engagements in divorce and matrimonial matters. The successful candidate will act as a go-to expert for clients and attorneys, develop new relationships, and manage a personal book of business.

Responsibilities

• Deliver business valuation and forensic accounting engagements in divorce and matrimonial matters
• Act as a go to expert for family law attorneys, courts, and high net worth clients
• Develop and manage a personal book of business
• Provide expert or supporting expert services, including reports, depositions, and trial preparation
• Coach and develop junior and mid level team members
• Support the growth of the practice through client development, proposals, and market facing activity
• Work closely with colleagues across other service lines on complex matters

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in business valuation and or forensic accounting
• Direct experience supporting matrimonial or family law litigation
• Comfortable running engagements and managing client relationships end to end
• Evidence of business development activity and an existing client base
• Strong grounding in valuation methodologies and financial analysis

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in business valuation and or forensic accounting

Nice to Have

• Expert witness or testifying experience
