Lead the technical and operational functions for Sedgwick's assigned offices, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards, and maintaining quality service delivery. This role involves direct operational responsibility, staff management, and financial oversight for a team of 50-99 colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Manage overall operations for all assigned office locations
- Establish policies and procedures to ensure compliance with best practices, claims management service standards, state regulations, and client service requirements
- Develop business plans with goals and objectives for partnerships and offices
- Monitor management reports related to partner and office performance
- Coordinate sales and client service efforts
- Administer company personnel policies and staffing standards
- Interview, hire, and establish colleague performance development plans
- Conduct colleague performance discussions
- Provide support, guidance, leadership, and motivation to promote maximum performance
Requirements
- 10+ years of related experience
- 7+ years of claims management experience
- 4+ years of supervisory experience
- Strong technical claims knowledge
- Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
- Leadership/management/motivational skills
- Analytical and interpretive skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Ten (10) years of related experience including seven (7) years of claims management experience and four (4) years of supervisory experience
