Lead the Family Office Management function for a Boston-based advisory firm serving ultra-high-net-worth clients. This role involves coordinating complex client relationships and delivering customized solutions across investment management, tax, and estate planning.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior point of coordination for complex client relationships, working across internal service, investment, and advisory teams
- Provide guidance on portfolio structure, asset allocation, performance monitoring, and reporting
- Prepare for and participate in client meetings, presentations, and conference calls, including follow-up documentation
- Oversee day-to-day servicing activities for a designated group of clients, including account administration, money movement, private investment activity, and reporting infrastructure
- Coordinate portfolio rebalancing, liquidity management, and cash flows in partnership with investment and research teams
- Manage client onboarding processes including asset transfers, trust and custody coordination, reporting setup, and investment policy documentation
- Oversee tax-related reporting efforts and collaborate internally on cost basis, tax payments, and ad-hoc reporting requests
- Draft client-ready communications related to portfolio activity, financial planning actions, and ongoing updates
- Monitor portfolios on an ongoing basis to ensure alignment with allocation models, liquidity needs, and client objectives
- Contribute to internal strategy discussions, management memoranda, and firm-wide initiatives
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in wealth management, family office services, estate planning, and/or tax planning
- Deep understanding of portfolio construction, asset allocation, and investment reporting
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex priorities under strict deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort drafting client-facing materials
- Hands-on, detail-oriented approach with willingness to personally execute when needed
- Strong collaborative mindset with ability to take direction from senior leadership
- Technology-savvy, with advanced Excel skills and comfort navigating industry platforms
- Bachelor’s degree
- Series 65 (or equivalent)

- 10+ years of experience in wealth management, family office services, estate planning, and/or tax planning
