This role involves leading the hiring, development, and growth of individuals at Jump, a 30-person strategy firm. The Director will drive critical people-related decisions and systems, playing a pivotal role in shaping the firm's culture and talent lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Shape growth paths, support learning experiences, and ensure development connects to feedback and expectations in the work
- Run searches end-to-end, create a great experience for applicants, identify great talent, and onboard new team members
- Own performance review and promotion processes to ensure clear feedback and career advancement
- Bring to life habits and practices that foster a collaborative and productive team culture
- Oversee benefits administration and regulatory compliance with support from external partners and internal teams
Requirements
- Owned or stewarded people systems (e.g., learning, performance, recruiting, culture) in a high-expectations environment
- Comfortable operating hands-on in a small firm without large teams or layers of support
- Bring sound judgment to people-centered decisions, especially where tradeoffs are involved
- Pay attention to how systems work in practice and are willing to adjust them over time
- Permanent right to work in the United States
