About This Role

This Director of Operations will oversee all operational units to provide exceptional fiscal intermediary services. The role involves formulating operational policies, implementing strategic objectives, and developing leadership skills within the subordinates.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Operational Standards through effective oversight
  • Formulate, implement, and communicate operational policies and procedures
  • Plan, execute, and implement strategic objectives in support of the Company’s overall Strategic Plan
  • Coordinate activities across operational unit lines and make recommendations to senior management
  • Develop leadership and management skills within subordinates
  • Approve performance appraisals and wage increases for operational staff
  • Develop metrics to measure operations performance and drive continuous improvement
  • Participate in the development of new services for recently acquired contracts
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and lead efforts in customer service, payroll, and processing
  • Monitor workloads of the group and re-assign agencies and programs appropriately
  • Collaborate with directors and executives from other functional areas to optimize delivery of services
  • Take corrective action on a timely basis in accordance with company policy
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Agencies
  • Promote adherence to and uphold the company’s mission and values

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience relevant to the work performed
  • Knowledgebase in supervision, business management and leadership
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Extensive experience in working on complex projects with critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to balance work pressure with time management skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships and communicate with people of diverse backgrounds and abilities
  • Experience in working, initiating and maintaining highly effective teams
  • Competency in Microsoft Office programs and the Internet

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, human services or related field or equivalent work experience
  • At least 5 years of experience relevant to the work performed, with extensive experience in leading complex projects.
