About This Role

Drive sales and business development activities for software products and cloud-based services within the US healthcare IT industry. This role focuses on customer acquisition, achieving revenue goals, and developing strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Direct sales of software products for on-premise install, transitioning to cloud-based services
  • Achieve a minimum yearly target by selling to small group practices to large complex Integrated Delivery Systems
  • Ensure contracts are signed on standard or reasonable terms
  • Set reasonable expectations with customers to prevent overselling
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Team on Lead Generation and Sales Promotion activities
  • Leverage full support of a competent Pre-sales team based out of India
  • Develop strong client/partner relationships and act as the link between customers and the organization
  • Coordinate with customers, internal departments, and partners for successful execution and implementation/support of sales
  • Manage sales funnel effectively to meet quarterly and annual quotas
  • Network with top management of prospects and customers and build relationships
  • Network with sales force of partners with which our solution is integrated
  • Keep track of competition’s activities and strategies
  • Act as an individual contributor for at least one year before leading a team of sales executives

Requirements

  • Based in the US
  • Involved in US healthcare IT industry selling software products/cloud based services
  • Good experience in the US Healthcare IT industry with around 10 years in a hunter sales role
  • Hands on experience in all mentioned responsibilities
  • Understanding of healthcare dynamics, customer’s challenges and pain points
  • Strategic selling skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Ability to give great demo

Qualifications

  • Graduate in Management, Science or Arts
  • Around 10 years in a hunter sales role in the US Healthcare IT industry
