About This Role

Lead the development and implementation of performance and quality management systems to evaluate organizational effectiveness and program impact for a mission-driven non-profit organization. Ensure alignment with best practices and manage accreditation processes to foster performance excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the development of annual program and department work plans and goal setting, incorporating agency strategic priorities, contractual or regulatory requirements, and quality benchmarks
  • Serve as a resource for senior leadership, to provide guidance on designing, implementing, analyzing and reporting on data and outcomes that demonstrate meaningful impact
  • Design and implement systems to track, measure, and analyze program outcomes and effectiveness
  • Provide leadership to and monitor the effectiveness of cross-organizational PQI efforts, including committees focused on data excellence, service ethics, and health, safety and wellbeing
  • Lead COA re-accreditation activities (4-year cycle) and annual maintenance of accreditation
  • Serve as subject matter expert on COA accreditation through a working knowledge of all standards
  • Provide ongoing evaluation of best practice implementation related to COA standards in each program or core service area
  • Develop, implement, and regularly update policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accreditation, licensure, and certification requirements
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise department staff partner; including performance management, and professional development

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of compliance, quality assurance, or regulatory oversight experience in a nonprofit or human services setting
  • Prior supervisory experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Public Administration, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, or related field preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years of compliance, quality assurance, or regulatory oversight experience in a nonprofit or human services setting. Prior supervisory experience required

Nice to Have

  • Master’s degree in Public Administration, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, or related field
  • Experience with COA or similar accreditation process
