Director of Maintenance

About This Role

Supervise and manage the maintenance staff, ensuring timely completion of all repairs and regular inspections of the facility. Maintain the physical plant to ensure the safety, upkeep, and appearance of the facility and perform related code requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assign maintenance staff responsibilities and schedules
• Schedule and ensure completion of all maintenance and repairs
• Perform regular inspections of the facility for safety, upkeep, appearance, and equipment performance
• Ensure work is in accordance with State/Federal and OSHA standards
• Be available "on call" for emergencies
• Understand and maintain systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical
• Comply with code requirements

Requirements

• Working knowledge of building systems and related code requirements
• Ability to be “on call”
• High proficiency and understanding of systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and code compliance
• Experience with OSHA and life safety regulations
• 2-3 years Supervisory and management experience
• Ability to multi-task
• Organized and time management skills
