About This Role

This executive role will provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the clinical and administrative functions of an ambulatory primary care and specialty clinics, including oversight of procedural areas. The Director will manage and mentor Practice Managers and Nurse Managers, ensuring superior patient care, optimizing clinic operations, and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to Practice Managers and Nurse Managers
  • Develop and implement long-term strategic plans to enhance clinic efficiency, patient care, and service offerings
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence among all clinic staff
  • Mentor and develop leadership skills within the management team
  • Oversee the daily clinical and administrative operations of the clinic
  • Implement and refine clinical protocols and procedures to enhance patient outcomes and streamline operations
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations and accreditation standards
  • Develop, manage, and oversee the clinic’s budget, ensuring financial stability and growth
  • Lead the review and development of clinical and administrative policies
  • Develop and implement comprehensive community outreach programs to increase patient volume and community awareness

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 7+ years of progressive healthcare administration experience
  • 3+ years in a senior leadership role
  • Extensive experience in managing ambulatory care and specialty clinics, including procedural areas such as endoscopy and cath lab
  • Exceptional leadership and strategic management abilities
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and clinical excellence
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management
  • Advanced knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality assurance practices
  • Proficiency in data analytics and performance improvement methodologies
  • Experience in policy review, development, and implementation
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with the community and build strategic partnerships

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive healthcare administration experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role. Extensive experience in managing ambulatory care and specialty clinics, including procedural areas such as endoscopy and cath lab.
