About This Role

Lead the infection prevention program as a Registered Nurse at Clinch Valley Health, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and implementing improvement plans to maintain high standards of patient safety and care.

Responsibilities

Plan and monitor staffing activities related to orientation
Oversee Annual Infection Control Education and fit testing
Collect performance improvement data
Develop and evaluate improvement action plans
Ensure regulatory (CMS, CDC, NHSN, and Joint Commission) compliance data collection and timely reporting
Collaborate with the Health Department and other outside agencies regarding infection control outbreaks, reporting, and concerns

Requirements

Current Virginia state or compact state RN license
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
ACLS within 30 days of hire
At least 2 years of RN experience

Qualifications

At least 2 years of RN experience
