Lead the infection prevention program as a Registered Nurse at Clinch Valley Health, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and implementing improvement plans to maintain high standards of patient safety and care.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor staffing activities related to orientation
- Oversee Annual Infection Control Education and fit testing
- Collect performance improvement data
- Develop and evaluate improvement action plans
- Ensure regulatory (CMS, CDC, NHSN, and Joint Commission) compliance data collection and timely reporting
- Collaborate with the Health Department and other outside agencies regarding infection control outbreaks, reporting, and concerns
Requirements
- Current Virginia state or compact state RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
- ACLS within 30 days of hire
- At least 2 years of RN experience
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of RN experience
