This role involves leading all functions of a hygiene manufacturing facility, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations. The Plant Manager will drive consistent product quality, high service levels, and competitive cost performance while fostering a strong safety-first culture.
Responsibilities
- Own overall plant performance, including safety, quality, service, cost, and employee engagement
- Translate business objectives into clear operational plans, KPIs, and daily management routines
- Lead cross-functional plant leadership team to deliver reliable, high-quality hygiene products
- Champion a zero-incident safety culture and ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Ensure strict adherence to hygiene standards, GMP, sanitation protocols, and product safety requirements
- Drive operational excellence through Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or similar continuous improvement systems
- Own plant P&L performance, including labor, materials, utilities, maintenance, and overhead
- Build a strong, accountable leadership team through coaching, development, and performance management
- Partner with planning, procurement, and logistics to ensure reliable production and on-time delivery
- Act as the senior site representative for key customer interactions and escalations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or Business
- 7–10 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, including full plant responsibility
- Proven track record in safety leadership, quality systems, and operational excellence
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing plant budgets and capital investments
- Hands-on leader with the ability to balance shop-floor presence and strategic thinking
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or Business
- 7–10 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, including full plant responsibility
Nice to Have
- Experience in hygiene, personal care, tissue, wipes, chemicals, food, or other GMP-regulated environments
