Premier Inc. is seeking a Director to develop and enhance programs supporting foodservice departments for its members. This role involves developing, selling, and marketing foodservice operational strategies, ensuring member satisfaction, and driving savings and revenue growth within Foodservice at Premier.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance programs supporting foodservice departments for Premier members, focusing on operational excellence and outsourcing solutions.
- Develop, sell, and market the Foodservice Operational Strategies program nationaly within the Premier membership.
- Oversee contract utilization, member satisfaction, data analysis, financial results, and member education for the program.
- Communicate program benefits to members' executive suites.
- Hire and manage membership-based staff under the program.
- Develop and execute department strategy for member foodservice operations.
- Provide and support value-added and fee-for-service consulting.
- Manage all Culinary related programs and services.
- Develop and standardize programs, quality controls, policies, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure member satisfaction with Premier's Foodservice Operational Strategies Program and oversee implementation at member sites.
Requirements
- 7+ years of applicable work experience
- Bachelors degree
- Ability to handle prolonged stationary periods, adapt to changes, meet deadlines, and pay attention to detail
- Proficiency in computer programs and software
- Effective communication skills (in-person and electronic)
- Ability to make independent decisions and work collaboratively
Qualifications
- Bachelors
- 7 or more years of applicable work experience, preferably 10+ years. Functional experience in group purchasing operations is desirable. Demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets. Experience in foodservice operations/supply chain/outsourcing. Proven track record in program development and implementation. Experience conducting executive level presentations.
