This Director of Analyst Relations role involves amplifying Trellix's corporate narrative and driving market momentum within the cybersecurity analyst community. The director will partner with product leaders to create effective analyst engagements that connect customer outcomes to product capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the critical bridge between product leadership and the analyst community, driving a two-way flow of information
- Collaboratively define key themes to articulate unique customer value and product differentiators
- Channel external analyst insights back internally to influence strategic planning and market execution
- Become an expert on the analysts' worldview and how they evaluate competitive alternatives in cybersecurity
- Maintain strong, constant relationships with key analysts
- Collaborate with Product to develop and execute programs that drive awareness and market credibility through strategic analyst engagement
- Own and meticulously manage participation in high-stakes analyst evaluations (Gartner Magic Quadrant, IDC)
- Drive analyst relations content to support building deeper relationships with key industry influencers
- Evangelize and translate critical analyst research and insights to executive leadership and sales teams
- Develop tools needed to support and accelerate the selling process
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience leading Analyst Relations within the cybersecurity industry
- Proven track record of successfully running and executing high-profile AR programs resulting in positive outcomes and strong feedback from key cybersecurity analysts
- Highly collaborative, low-ego, and easy to work with
- Self-motivated storyteller with strong presentation and writing skills
- Ability to structure a story to serve audience needs
- Curiosity and a lifelong learner mindset
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity as a professional purpose
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience leading Analyst Relations within the cybersecurity industry
